David is on stage with a girl that had set up a blogsite for people to come on and share stories about how David's music had inspired them. She said that there were people that said he had helped them through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Some were even dealing with cancer and said his music is helping them through it. In the picture she is handing him a book that has all of their stories in it so he can see how he is inspiring people. The blurry spot off to the left is some ladies head that wouldn't move out of the way and kept bumping into my camera. Grrrrr ;).

DAVID ARCHULETA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me and my mom went to Murray High School for David's homecoming/final three party. Apparently there was an estimated 9,000 people there. Just imagine, if we weren't there, there might have been only 8,998 people. SO sad. David deserves so much better than that! Anyway, we went and stood by the fence next to the track, and, lo and behold, we stood just in front of the door David was coming out of to get into his little white convertible. These are some pictures of him driving down the track. And just F.Y.I., the girl he is in the convertible with is NOT his girlfriend. It's his mother. Everyone thinks she's his girlfriend. Eww.
This is a picture of the event. That big crane thing is the speaker, and that little tent is where David sang to us with his beautiful voice. There were lots of balloons. At the end of the event, to show how much we love David (which is a lot), we grabbed a bundle of balloons and then we all let them go at the same time so there was like a million balloons floating in the sky.
This is Governor Huntsman giving a talk about how proud we are of David for making it this far on American Idol and how he is officially Utah's favorite Idol. Then he declared May 9th David Archuleta Day. He even had a proclomation.
When David first got up on stage, he almost fell down. I felt kind of bad for him because he was seriously about to fall on his butt, but I just laughed. Hehehe :).

David sang three songs: Stand By Me, Imagine :), and my all time favorite, Angels. Towards the end we started walking back to the fence to see him again. You can kind of see him up on stage with his hand in the air. He was amazing!!! He was so much cuter in person. You can't even imagine. His skin is like perfect and kind of pale but in a good way. His smile was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen!!!! His teeth were so white and perfect!!!! And his hair!!!! You would not believe his hair!!!! It was like this gorgeous peice of fur that just sat on top of his head and billowed in the wind!!!!!! Kind of like a really soft, thick haired puppy dog.
So we started walking back to our car, and there was this huge banner that was right above the freeway. It says something like: DAVID ARCHULETA Murrays American Idol! Anyway, yeah.
This is like totally random, but when we were driving back home through Murray Park, we saw a goose. It was just waddling it's way through the park and it stood right by our car when we were stopped. Such a friendly goose :).

Katie, you totally crack me up. You'd think you were a teenager or something. I love the pics and the explanations, especially about the lady who kept bumping into your camera. You're awesome.
