Puppy Play Date

The other day, our neighbor Ally Bush came over to our house with her two dogs (Max, the dauchsund, and Scout, the toy poodle).

Molly had tons of fun playing with Max (who is just about her same age), while Scout explored. Molly and Max tried to get Scout the old hag in on the action, but she would have no part of it. She's such a party pooper. While they were playing, Ally told us that her uncle had his Dauchsund bred to a Min Pin. Then she said we should breed Max and Molly and get a Weiner Pinscher. Oh, we are SO breeding those two!!!!

The Rendezvous

I was supposed to publish this post like two months ago, but I figured I'd better get it done and over with now. For our last week of school, the seventh grade had a rendezvous (yippeee! :P). Anywho, we split into groups and went around to all the different stations (I think there were twelve) and learned about mountain men. This is a picture of a... something...from one of the stations
Station Number One was with Mrs. Bucklew, my science teacher. She got really into it and dressed up. I forgot to take one of her while we were doing stuff, but this is one of her and Mrs. Golom ( :Q icky) Mrs. Bucklews the one bending over. This is some guy that taught us about blacksmithing. That was an adventure. He almost burnt a kid with his coat rack. This station is foods. This little old man makes me laugh so hard!!!! He's got a hole in his hat that just cracks me up!!!!!!!!!! He's totally clueless you know, so it made it even funnier. He was just sittin there with a flap on his head an he's talking about ox tail soup and how good it was. Nothing better than Grammas ox tail soup!!!! (He actually said that) That just goes to show how old he is, since no one in their right mind would ever eat ox tail soup. This station was with Mrs. Smith, one of the substitutes at our school. She was teaching us how to make this paper bag thing. I can't remember what it was called. Probably story roll or somehting like that. It was kind of strange but I love Mrs. Smith!!!!!!!Some lady taught us about leather and about all this nasty stuff like brains and egg yolks (which aren't that bad if they're in food, but the fact that leather is soaking that stuff up kind of creeps me out)Mr. Andersen taught us some games that Mt. Men played. I hated them all. I'm not gonna lie. I've come to realize that I am not athletic in anyway at all. Oops, thats a really bad picture.
This was the scariest station of them all. It was butter, with the crazy lady. Mrs. Chance. She's the one sitting in the van, and she is also the mother of the weirdest, most annoying little child I've ever met. Her name would be Marie. She is crazy, and kind of mentally handicapped. I don't want to sound mean, but she really is. She has problems with reading. She's apparently going out with Nick The Stick (Hey! Thats good! I just came up with that on the spot!!!) He's this really scrawny short kid that's weird and nobody likes him (which is sad, but he is the most annoying person ever) and she's cheating on him with her "cousin". Which I mean how gross is that? He isn't really her cousin, but thats who she tells Nick she's hugging. How do I know all this you say???? It's Selleste. She tells me everything. Apparently she's friends with her. I told ya she was weird. So, that was our lovely little rendezvous that I am extremely happy I don't have to go to next year. Because it was torture.

It's coming!!!!

Pictures of my rendezvous!!!!! If my computer would just work properly, I would get it posted.

The Earthquake

A couple days ago I woke up in the middle of the night. My bed was shaking violently and I was so confused because I had no idea what was going on, although I had a pretty good idea. I couldn't breathe and I imagine I looked kind of stupid, with my eyes wide open and my hands glued to the side of my bed. Then my mirror fell off my wall with a loud bang and thats when it hit me that I was in an "earthquake". I screamed really loud and just about had a heartattack. I rolled out of bed and realized it was over. I was kind of surprised that it had stopped so quickly, but I ran as fast as I could to the door way to wait for the aftershock.

Surprised??? Shocked??? Confused??? Well, thats when I realized I wasn't in an earthquake. I just woke up in the middle of the night shaking the bed myself, and talk about timing!!! My mirror fell off the wall, due to lack of adhesive. So naturally I freaked out. But don't worry, after I got over feeling stupid I was fine.
I think I'm going crazy.

Molly's First Bath

The other day Molly had her first bath. She wasn't quite sure what was going on at first, but once she figured out what was happening, she wanted no part of it. She freaked out and started squirming and whining and had a little hissy fit.Molly was really happy to be out of the water and into her nice, warm towel. Now she can't even get near the sink without whining and freaking out. I don't think she likes taking baths very much...Hopefully her next bath will go a little smoother :)

Molly's Dental Hygeine

Cousin Maddy slept over at our house on the 4th, and after she left we discovered her toothbrush under our couch.
So a little while later we were playing with Molly in the family room and she got under the couch and started chewing on Maddy's toothbrush.
Apparently she felt she had some plaque build up, because she started to "brush her teeth".
What a good puppy :)

Molly the Min Pin!!!

We got a puppy! Her name is Molly. She's a Min Pin (Miniature Pinscher) and she is nine weeks old.We got Molly Sunday, June 29. We drove all the way to Stockton to pick her up. Molly is very playful, and since she's teething she likes to bite and chew on her toys (her favorite toy at the moment is her Senior Kong. The Senior Kong was the smallest Kong we could find. They were all out of the normal kind) and she enjoys chewing on our fingers, toes, and wrists. She loves to play outside and she really likes eating the grass.
Here's Molly taking a nap with her stuffed animal, which actually looks just like her. She likes to cuddle up with you on the couch and doze off while you pet her. Molly isn't potty trained yet, but we're getting there. Sort of. She's had a few accidents, but she's getting better. We've been trying this thing where we take her to the door she should go out to go to the bathroom, and we have a little bell that we have her ring before she goes outside. Then, when she's trained and she has to go to the bathroom, she'll ring the bell so we know to take her out. And no, this is not a picture of her peeing :)Molly likes Dan and wants to play with him everytime we take her outside. But just recently we had Molly outside with Dan (Molly on her leash) and Dan took a snap at her. She didn't get hurt, but I think he gave her a heart attack. He's just not used to her yet like we thought he was, but they'll be buddies soon enough.
Molly doesn't like her leash very much. At first we didn't put it on her to take her out in the yard, but then we saw how fast she could run, and from then on she's been on her leash to go to the bathroom and play. Molly is very curious and likes to look at/sniff everything she sees. We love Molly!!!!!! She is such a cutie!!! I can't wait for everybody to be able to see her on the 4th!!!
