High Fashion Modeling...In My Backyard

When boredom sets in with my friends and I, really weird things can happen. Maybe the boredom is like a beckon for something outlandish and crazy...Whatever it is we can some up with some seriously weird things to do. So when my two friends Annika and Ashley came over, we decided that a high fashion fashion show would be a pretty entertaining thing to do! :D

Next on the slide is Ashley! I think that her beautiful hair and intense make-up seriously compliment each other. I know what you're thinking..."Who on EARTH did that girls hair and make-up?! It's so unique, and how can I contact her?!" Well, my name is Katie, and I'm still working on my business card and contact number, so I'll get back to you. (:

Next we headed to the tramp! These pictures didn't work out so well...but we did find a caterpillar! He was really creepy, you can see the horn sticking out of his tail end. Why any insect would ever have a spike on its butt I just do not understand.

Now...To the watering hole! Our spout/water spicket/outdoor sink was our next modeling spot. Annika went for a more candid, mystical shot, that actually turned out pretty good! It would have been especially cute...minus the monsterous black star trek eyebrows.(: haha
I was really wanting my leg to rest casually across the top of the spout/spicket/outdoor sink...but my stubby legs just could NOT get up there. Thanks a lot for the shortie genes mom! Haha(;

Finally, after like thirty shots, we got the water falling! Woohoooooo! The only unfortunate thing: Ashley's hair was deflating):

School's out! :D I've been reminiscing these past few hours... and it's crazy how much I've changed! It's weird to think that next year I'm going to be in HIGH SCHOOL with a bunch of crazy new teachers and huge, scary, eighteen year old students. It makes me want to crawl in a hole and cry. I've been strongly considering buying some pixy dust off tinker bell and flying away to Neverland. I DON'T WANT TO GROW UP!

Ashley had to concentrate very hard to push the buttons on her phone. I don't think she took her pills that morning (; This is Ashley's friend Riley. I don't know her all that well, but Ashley took a picture of her and it was on my camera, so here we are. haha. She's pretty my NASCAR soul sister, though. That I do know!

So, Brother Johnson has this wall in his classroom in the Seminary building dedicated to his students. We all brought in pictures at the beginning of the year and put them up there. Silly Annika didn't bring one and she just couldn't remember to save her life to bring one(: SO, me and Kaycee College drew a picture of her and put it up on the wall so Brother Johnson would never forget her. Haha. It's an incredible likeness.(;

I'm going to miss Willowcreek. I've had so many fun times! But life goes on. Unless I can get that pixy dust I was talking about earlier.

On December 28, David Archuleta turned 19 years old! :D They grow up so fast.. it seems like just yesterday he was learning to use the big boy potty (:

Anywho... For Christmas Kelsey got an Ace of Cakes cake making kit and wanted to use it, and I, being the good future wife that I am, wanted to make my future hubby a birthday cake. So, that's what we did (:

It was really cool actually. You just poured the cake batter into the molds and put it in the microwave for thirty seconds and BAM! Instant cake. It was so cute, and only two inches tall (:

We even made the fondant. We made blue and brown, cause those just seemed like mellow colors, and David Archuleta is a mellow kinda guy (:
After we cut out all the different shapes, we put them on the cake and with a white icing tube that came with the set, wrote "Happy 19 Birthday" around the sides, and "DA" on the top, for David Archuleta (:

It was quite an...attractive... cake. haha with a little more practice me and Kelsey could be setting up a cake shop (:

P.S. This was all fun and games until about a week ago I had a tragic realization. HE TURNED NINETEEN! This means I can't date him until I turn nineteen! Because if I went out with him now it would be a felony!!!! NOOOOOO! ): I'm going to have a talk with whoever's stupid idea it was to create that law. Grrrrr!

Chin People

I grew up drawing smilies on my chin with eyeliner to make chin people. But I guess sunglasses and towels work just as well. haha

Ashley's chin man has a severe underbite. (: Poor thing. He should be getting braces in about a month. It's about time. He's been living with it all his life.

I don't know what he ate but I'm pretty sure it was something icky.
