YEARBOOK CAMP!!!!!!!!!

Yearbook Camp was AMAZING! It took place at Snowbird Ski Resort up Provo Canyon, so in all actuality it wasn't necessarily a camp, more like a vacation (; I am the Mugs Editor for next year, and I went with the two other editors, Micala (Superlatives Editor), and Kaycee (Editor in Cheif), as well as our advisor, Ms. Measom. Alright this next thing is a must read (:

So apparently the three editors that went the year before had elevator boyfriends (just random guys they thought were cute that they rode the elevators with all the time. And just to clarify [there has been some confusion here], the "elevator boyfriends" didn't know they were the elevator boyfriend of anyone). So Kaycee, Micala and I were pretty set on getting one of these things. Anyway, when we got there, there was this one dude who was carrying around a coffee and had perfectly quaffed hair, whatever that means, so we started calling him Quaffy. On the second day we were there, we rode the elevators for an hour just looking for our elevator boyfriends, hahaha. And THEN, lo and behold, there was QUAFFY!!!!!!!!!!! MWAHAHAHA! So Kaycee, the brave little soul, asked to get a picture with him. So we did (: HAHAHA here it is (: He looks petrified hahahahahahaa

Hahaha then later we got back on the elevators with some girl we had met earlier, and we were on it for no longer than three minutes, I SWEAR, and suddenly the emergency telephone rang. :O We finally answered it and some guy was breathing into the phone in a really creepy tone and he said,"If you do not get off the elevator RIGHT NOW, we will arrest you for loittering." It was SO SCARY! But it was kind of funny too hahaha.

Ok now that I'm done with my crazy story, I'll talk about the yearbook (:

The whole cover of the yearbook will be covered in black and white photos. The title and theme of the yearbook for this year is, "We're Different From Z to A". We're, From, and To will be this one blue color, Different will be bolded and is going to be a magenta color. Z and A will be this really crazy awesome font and be a purple foil color, which is a bright purple shiny color, haha (:

Each page is assigned a specific letter, and as a staff we'll find some weird random word that no one in their right mind would ever know and define it, which ties the Z to A factor into the book. Our other main idea is Different, so on every double page spread (two pages side by side), we'll have interviewed three people and asked each of them the same question, and get different answers, showing that we are all unique and Different! haha

So on the back of the yearbook cover, and personally I think this is the coolest part, we are going to define different and Willowcreek. (: OH! And instead of going A-Z on the mugs photos, people who's last names start with Z will come first and those with A will come last.

I will DEFINITELY post a picture of the yearbook when we are all finished!!!!!!!!!! :D

Can't wait to be in this class and see how it turns out, especially because at Yearbook Camp, we won the Grand Prize for best Yearbook design!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOOO!
